Wallanet Launches Fitness Website tf7fitness.com

Twenty-Four Seven Fitness supply needed a brochure type of website that listed their services and the more than 300 products that they sold. In addition, they thought they may want to add shopping cart functionality down the road so they basically needed an e-commerce website without the check out module. So we decided to do a basic install of osCommerce with a completely customized skin to match the TF7 logo and corporate colors. When they’re ready, they’ll be able to start taking orders online almost immediately.

The challenge with this project was in getting more than 300 products into their database. The products were often listed in manufacturer’s brochures and on their websites but without any standards. So the images were in a variety of shapes, sizes and formats. In addition, the products all had different layouts and specs.

So Wallnet built a custom upload page for TF7 so they could get their products and images on their website quickly. We’ve called this product upload tool “Easy Product” and plan to donate it back to the osCommerce community. It has a variety of customizable features like support for multiple images per product and bulk uploads via a CSV file.
